Work experience:
Presently working for a Cement producing unit in Mali/West Africa, as a Commercial/Logistics & Sales Head 
since March 2104. 
The job involves formulating various commercial models for negotiating, material procurement locally and globally for 2 cement plants of 1.million ton capacity each.

Challenge being the plant is situated in a land locked country about 1200km from the nearest sea port and procuring the materials on time, to ensure the production is not hampered.

Interacting with various departments (like Mechanical, Process, Garage, Electrical, Instrumentation), for 
indenting and procurement of Raw material / Spare parts / Capital goods / Engineering services etc.,

Interacting with the Government / Ministries for necessary exemptions / Duty draw backs on Gas Oil and other Imported items.
Interacting with the Customs, Custom brokers, Stevedores, Transporters, Suppliers, Mines ministry etc.,
Resolving contractual and commercial challenges & Legal matters.

Additional responsibility of Sales promotion, Quality issues, Productivity & Profitability.

Worked for an upcoming Inland Container Depot at Hyderabad/India, (2012-2013) in the capacity of 
Senior Marketing Manager. 
The job involved analysis of geographies / develop business through Freight forwarder, Custom House 
Agents, Shipping line, Exporter/Importer fraternity.

Worked for a category 1 rail operator by name ETA Freightstar Pvt Ltd., (2010-’12) as DGM 
Marketing, at Delhi. 
I was the Account holder for the biggest Danish shipping liner by name Maersk and a Dry Port at Sanand & Jodhpur, by name Hasti Petro Chemicals (also known as THAR Dry Port), in the western part of India.

Handled all matters pertaining to Marketing, Operations, Communications, Billing, Reconciliations, 
Accounts Payable/Receivables etc.,
