Skils

I possess an MBA and maintain a current government secret security clearance. Most recently, I served for three years as Comptroller (Chief Financial Officer) at a large Coast Guard Training Center, where I demonstrated outstanding financial management and budget acumen. I expertly managed and meticulously tracked over $40M in direct support of Coast Guard training mission execution. This enabled Training Center Petaluma, CA, to graduate over 15,000 students during that period of time. I aggressively monitored spending; my efforts produced exceptional results as the Training Center successfully balanced its books each fiscal year.

I will be retiring from the Coast Guard in June 2011. Due to accumulated vacation time, I will actually be entering the workforce around March 2011.
