Currently hold position of Chief Cook. Started as second cook, promoted to Cook Baker, then to Chief Cook on 01/03. Duties: Preparation of meals, serving of meals. Menu planning for meals. Cleaning and other duties as assigned. Several temporary promotions to Chief Steward while Chief Steward on vacation. Filled in for Chief Steward in menu planning, ordering and purchasing of food, maintaining inventories, estimates for supplies, inspection of incoming stock, stocking, ship stores/inventory. Supervision, scheduling and training of Steward Department personnel.
