Skils
My main duties as Chief Officer were as follows: ensuring the safety and discipline on board, in accordance with SMS and HSE standards. I am well acquainted with the standard procedures used GMDSS equipment. As chief officer I planned and supervised over cargo operations, provided maintenance of LSA, FI-FI equipment. I participated in the development of risk assessment system on board, the non-conformity (incident) report and stop card system. I was responsible for the handling of garbage on board. I corrected maritime charts and publications. I was responsible for an order and conformity of a ship medical chest.
I was responsible for assisting the Captain during maneuvering, bunkering, towing and transferring operations.
I have a positive operational experience with many nationalities: Norwegians, Englishmen, Germans, Greeks, Filipinos, etc.
