Objective
I am looking for an oppurtunity ashore, related to ship survey and chartering. Since I have done most of my seatime in Chemical Trade hence would like to be in the same league.
Experience
I have Joined Merchant Navy in 1998 and at present sailing as Chief Officer. Also doing my Masters From India.
I have been doing chemical tankers from my cadetship, with just one bulk carrier as an exception. The last chemical tanker was engaged in the carriage of Parcels of Chemicals usually carrying from 15-17 Parcels. She has 20 tanks . Firstly she was chartered by Stolt Nielsen and later Tokyo marine took over the charter. Bum Chin was normally carrying 3-4 Grades and was trading world wide, she was chartered by Fair Field Chemical carriers. Maya was a parcel tanker , she use to trade in gulf of Mexico between Mexico and US. There were 22 tanks and self have carried 12 parcels at one time. During normal run she use to carry 7 to 8 different grades. For the cargoes please refer to the cargo carriage list. As a chief officer i have gained experiance with charterers like stolt tankers ,fair field chemical carriers, tokyo marine. Trading world wide i have carried chemicals of many different grades. The maximum i have carried is 17 parcels in 20 tanks for Stolt.
The Last contract as chief officer has given me the exposure to the management aspects of the ship operations.
