Handling of Cargo/Passengers and including management of crew and ship.
Experience
Presently working at New Simulator center of the Philippines as a deck instructor and been sailing with Sanko Ship management as a second mate. I took my chief mates license last Nov. 2008. I've been a 3rd mate for a year and was promoted to second mate last Aug. 2007. After my contract as a second mate last Apr. 2008, I was hired by our local manning agency(Fil-Star Maritime Corp.)as their Manning officer for a year. I've been sailing for almost 6 yrs on board Oil tanker and bulk carriers.
Education
I graduated In Philippine MErchant Marine Academy last June 2003.
Certification
Currently holding a license for Management Level - D2 0045473. Certificate of Competency and STCW endorsement. General Operators Certificate. Training on Ship Handling and Maneuvering in Critical conditions and took up Management level course. Training on crew resource and crisis management.
Skils
Navigation, Cargo Handling for Oil and Bulk cargoes, Management of Crew on board and shore.Basic Computer.Communication and writing skills.Knowledgeable in Handling of Medicines and took training on Medical Care.
Presently working on Maritime training center in the Philippines as deck instructor on ECDIS course.
