Objective
I want to Manage the team of engineers for the Operation and maintenance of different machineries like in a hotel.
In shipping industry I want to join as a technical managaer.
Experience
I joined APL as assistant engineer in Jan 1998.I worked on board ship with APL till 2008.I left when I was 2nd Engineer.As a 2nd Engineer(next position is Chief Engineer) I was managing the full engine room department work,which includes the Man power management,operation and maintenance of the machineries as per the PMS and orders of the Chief Engineer.Spare parts Management.
Presently I am working as Chief Engineer with Dole fresh fruit,on their ship.So now I am the overall incharge of the full Engine department and Managing everything for smooth running of the ship. Which includes Operation,maintenance of different machineries as per class and PMS.Surveys of different machineries as per class.To follow the regulations of different countries and comply with their paper work.To Maintain the fire fighting and life saving system on board ship.
Follow the rules and regulations to maintain the ship pollution free to protect the enviornment.
To communicate with the Vessel technical superinedent(Vessel Manager) regarding any technical matter.
Education
I have done My B.E.(Mechanical) from a well reputed Engineering college of India in 1997.After my engineering I joined Shipping (APL).Then I cleared My class 5 in 1999,
COC Class 2 'MOT'in 2005 and COC Class 1 'MOT' in 2009.
Certification
I done all my safety courses and ceritifications from MPA Singapore.
Skils
TO Manage a team of Engineers and workers to get their max output.
To get the work done with the avilable resourses.
Enough Computer Knowledge to get all the work done on it.
Reading all kind of technical drawings.
To Manage the maintenance of all kind of machineries.
