Seeking a job as maintenance technician and marine engineer with your company that can utilize my 21years worldwide sea service experience on bulk cargo, self unloaders, Containers and tankers, floating production storage and offtake vessel.
I have worked on diesel marine propulsion and power and steam generating plants of various manufacturers viz B&W,Sulzer,Catterpillar, Wartsila, Diahatsu. And carried out all routine maintenance and repair of the machinery.
Including the cargo operation and hospitality equipment on board the ship.

Skils
Operations and Maintenance – Coordinate and ensure that all
mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic maintenance and repair is done in
a safe and prudent manner. Ensure compliance to Company policy
international regulations relating to the operation of the vessel, and
current pollution regulations 73/78. Monitor the power plants controls
and power distribution. Ensure that the permit to work system is
followed.
As The First Engineer I am also responsible for: -
The correct and prompt supply of information to the Chief Engineer
about the working of the Engine Room machinery and personnel.
The correct and prompt execution of the Chief Engineer’s orders and
reporting of the progress.
The supervision personally of all day workers, the workshop, stores,
maintenance and repairs.
The updating and maintenance of the First Engineer’s daily workbook,
running repair list, wear down measurements and the inventory of stores
and spares.
The proper storage of stores spares and tools.
The routine maintenance/repairs, upkeep and cleanliness of all on board
machinery and the spaces allotted to the Engine Department.
The discipline, cleanliness and appearance of Engine room personnel,
their living quarters and change rooms.
Fuel and Lube oil purification and related equipment.
Co-ordination with Chief Officer, for work where personnel from both
departments are required.
Safety – Fully conversant on a management level of MARPOL 73/78, STCW 95, ISPS code, IMD SOLAS convention. Comfortable with procedures for dealing with paints/solvents, confined spaces, organizational and advanced fire fighting, use of equipment and protective clothing and have current First Aid, Advanced Fire Fighting and Survival at Sea Certificates. Also holding Tanker Safety Certificates. Routine AMSA sea going medicals have been performed.
