1979-1987 Various Assistant Engineer positions on Steam and diesel container, tanker and break bulk ships.

1987-1988 Permanent First Assistant Engineer on steam ship

1988-1999 Permanent First Assistant Enineer on Diesel Container ships with B&W 9L80MCE and Sulzer 12RTA84 main engines.

1999-2008 Chief Engineer on 4800 TEU container ship with Sulzer 12RTA84 Main.

2011-2013 Chief Engineer on various new build Drill Ships for Noble Drilling

2014 Maintenance Engineer on a new build drill ship for Maersk Drilling.

2015 Self Employed.

Certification

Chief Engineer, Diesel, Steam & Gas Turbine of any Horse Power
Third Mate of any gross tonnage upon oceans
STCW 95
GMDSS operator

Skills

Skilled in use of computerized PPM programs (Safenet, NS5 & Amos-D) and MS office suite. Extensive experience in overseeing personnel including shore vendors. Hands on experience with hand and power tools including machine shop equipment and welding.
