Kwajalein Range Services, Kwajalein Atoll, Republic of the Marshall Islands, 12/07 to present.

Chief Engineer on the U.S.Army vessel WORTHY, 220’ 1,600 hp diesel/electric range safety vessel working in support of the Reagan Missile Test Site. Supervising a crew of 3-5 personnel depending on the mission.



Crowley Marine Services, Valdez, Alaska 12/98 to 11/07

Chief Engineer on various harbor and escort tugs working in Prince William Sound. Docking and escorting oil tankers to/from the Valdez pipeline terminal. 16 & 20 cyl, 645 EMD and 3600 & 3500 series Caterpillar engines, up to 10,000 hp with CPP, Voith and Aqua-Master Z-Drives.



Tidewater Marine, Morgan City, LA 4/98 to 12/98

Chief Engineer on 180", 465 gross ton, 2-4,000hp vessels. Various engines on offshore supply vessels working in the Gulf of Mexico under contract to Shell Exploration. Transport supplies, fuel, water, drill mud and personnel to and from oil platforms. Also worked as Chief Engineer/Chief Mate on a 135’crew boat during a delivery trip from Morgan City, LA. to Makai, Brazil with a 2-week layover in Fortaleza, Brazil for repairs.



University Of Alaska, Fairbanks. Seward Marine Center. Seward, Alaska 7/91 to 4/98

Chief Engineer (relief) / 1st. Assistant Engineer / Mate / AB-Seaman, on the Research Vessel Alpha Helix.L.133”, 439 gross tons 800hp.8-645 EMD engine. Worked on the waters of the mid to north Pacific and Arctic Oceans, from Hawaii to the East Siberian Sea. Operated the vessel for the National Science Foundation, University National Oceanographic Laboratory System, in support of various scientific research projects including physical, chemical and biological oceanography. Have made 6 stops at Providenya, Siberia, and worked in conjunction with a Russian icebreaker. We worked extensively in the polar ice pack without icebreaker support.
