Chief Engineer

I am writing to
express interest in a Chief Engineer position. You will see from the enclosed
curriculum vitae that I have been working as Leader of the technical department
for the past 17 years and have gained extensive experience in the Maritime and
Offshore sector since 1979.

In the past, I
have proved myself in working as Leader of the technical and deck departments on
Semi-Submersible, Heavy Lift Cargo, Reefer and Container vessels. Furthermore on
Offshore Construction Accommodation Barges in Angola & Congo for Chevron
and Total as Client

Additionally, I
am well versed in electronic, electrical & hydraulic systems precisely for heavy
lift cranes and deck equipment in the Maritime and Offshore sector. In my past
positions, I was also responsible for company claims involving deck and engine
departments. Moreover, testing, commissioning & repairing of engines on
board or in dry docks / shipyards. Implementing of company maintenance programs
and administration of ISPS & ISM matters were some of my past duties.

I am highly
convinced that my international experiences and my German virtues will be highly
