-HUETInterests Hunting, fishing, camping and ATV riding. Comments I am very mechanically and electrically inclined. I have extensive knowledge in the operations and maintenance of diesel engines including EMD, Caterpillar, Detroit Diesel, and Cummins. I am also proficient in maintaining technologically advanced diesel electric power conversion systems. These systems include generators, transformers, variable frequency drives, AC motors for propulsion, and pc and plc networks for automation. I am currently working with the Alstom AVC automation and power conversion system. I have worked with other automation systems such as Prism and Nautronix. I can read schematics and diagrams, as it is required in my profession. I also have experience operating and navigating small ships as master and first mate. I feel that I have a unique perspective because of having sailed as mate on the bridge and engineer in the engine room of various types of vessels. I feel confident that I could operate and/or maintain just about any type of mechanical equipment with the proper manuals and schematics.
