Experience
Currently employed at Southern Towing Co. As a chief engineer on the Mv. Robert Ingle the main engines are Emd's 16 cly and the generators are 6cly John deere I've rode 10 of there vessels most of there boats are emd but one boat I rode has catapillar engines. I've been at this co since aug 2009 the employer before that was Inland Marine co as a chief engineer on three different vessels the Mv.Robert Green powered with 6000 hp alco ,generators were detroits 645s , the next vessel was the Mv. Clyde Butcher 5000hp Alco main engines with two 6 cyn ditgital John Deere generators the next vessel was the Mv. Floyd Blaske 5000hp alco with two catipillar generators. The employer before that was Excell Marine paducha ky for 9 yrs starting out as a green Deckhand and worked my way up to chief engineer

I realize the opperation of a ship is quite different than a towing vessel but I would like to train to become a high chief engineer I'm a very hard worker and learn very quickly if given the oppertunity I would be an asset to your company. I already have a twic card thank you sincerly David Summers
