• 8 Years of Experience as supervisor.

• Maintaining engines for ship operation and general maintenance in engine room, including knowledge in the operation, maintenance and repairs of all diesel engines.

• Diagnosis of hydraulic, electrical and mechanical engine repairs. Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics

• 5 years as a Chief Engineer. Engine and gearbox rebuilds, hydraulic repairs, electrical repairs.

• Chief Engineer Master mechanic and electrical.

• Maintain and service a 20 million dollar fleet of ships. Equipment included cranes, air conditioning

• Welding and fabricating, type: everything except aluminum

• Supervising service tech’s, assist with parts ordering, diagnostic’s, develop and maintain outside vendor relations, and technical assistance. Team management, ability to supervise 10 mechanics and work closely with personnel.

• Maintaining numerous engines general maintenance for optimum performance in engine room.

• Schedule and maintain jobs and completion times in a timely manner.

• QMED basic engine room maintenance. Qualified member of engine department

• Implemented policies & procedures to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality performance

• Maintain a safe and clean work place.


 


Engines: EMD 720, Cat 3516, 3412, 3408, Cummins, Detroit 146’s, 671’s, 871’s; all size generators from 9kw to 900kw
