OF COMMERCE : Norfolk, VA. / Seattle, WA – March 2002 to March 2008 Served as Chief Engineer aboard diesel electric T-AGOS # 15 (R/V Ka’Imimoana), and diesel electric T-AGOS # 3 (R/V Hi’Ialakai) which supported Tsunami and TAO buoy installation and servicing as well as marine sanctuary diving and mapping operations throughout the Pacific Ocean. Served as relief engineer throughout the NOAA fleet. (Held DoD Security clearance)

Propulsion: Silicon Controlled Rectifier (SCR) a/c-d/c electric direct drive systems / Controlled

Pitch Propeller (CPP) direct drive systems / Ulstein Z-drive DP 1 & 2 systems / Standard

Stability: Weight, ballasting, fuel burn and ballasting before, during, after voyages
