Chief Engineer

Objective


Any Marine Offshore work such as ahts, dsv, rov vessels drill ships etc. Also interested in any work which can utilise my current work experience and qualifications such as surveyor, superintendent.


Experience


I am a marine sea going Chief Engineer with 21 years marine experience most of which has been served in the marine offshore sector. For the past six years I have served exclusively on a range of dp vessels comprising of ahts, dsv and multi purpose dsv/rov vessels. These vessels have been engaged in platform supply, anchor handling rig towing, offshore construction, deep sat diving/inspection and ROV operations. In addition to my extensive marine offshore experience my qualifications include both an unlimited motor C/E COC and a B.Sc. degree in mechanical engineering. I am computer literate possess good communication skills and am a team player.

EMAS OFFSHORE – JUNE 08 – present CHIEF ENGINEER OFFICER

m.v. Lewek Swan, DP2 AHTS, 12600bhp, Singapore Flag. On Charter to Brunei Shell Petroleum.

Daily duties include been repsonsible for the safe and efficient operation of all main and auxiliary machinery including electrical generation plant. In charge of engine room department including work delagation and duty rosters. Ensuring all planned maintenance and repair work is carried out efficiently. Ordering spare parts and stores. Personally responsible for operating the main anchor/tow winches and also the discharging of bulk cement/fuel/oil based cargoes to offshore instillations.
