Objective


I am an experienced chief cook and very much interested to apply on the same position or category,most preferably on offshore vessels or rigs.Based on my experienced I am fully entrusted to accomplish and perform my duties as a chief cook and will ensure to delight and satisfied the needs of all the crew in respect to my tasks in the catering department,and will ensure as well the necessary safety duties learnes throughout my entire years of seafaring days.


Experience


Just on the early days of my sea experience I have been employed under Magsaysay Maritimes Services Co Inc.a foremost Philippine Manning Agency known from its hall of Fame Awards from our Philippine Overseas & Employment Agency,has served as a chief cook on seven vessels of different types including refrigerated vessel,bulk,container,General cargo,tanker and PCC Pure Car Carrier from the period 1990 to 1997,after that I transfered and join the OSM fleet a Norwegian Company with a subsidiary office in Manila and also join various vessels mostly on offshore categories and still connected up to present as a Chief cook and Chief Steward from the period 1997 - 2008 and presently employed under the DOF fleet a well known offshore company contracted to OSM.


Education


I took my primary and Intermediate education from Paombong Elementary School,after that I had my High school from Paombong High School where I finished my secondary education in the year1969,and after I had my college education from the University of the East Manila up to second year.

Skils


Am computer literate with knowledge in basic word,excel and outlook express.Capable of ordering provisions base on the appropriate number of crew knowledgeable in victualling and other respective duties on the catering department,most specially on safety handling of various galley equiptment and different kinds of chemicals use.


 


Has attended various In-house training course including ISM safety management,Human relations,Protetion & Environment course and different CBT test,which is conducted under the training program of OSm Maritime services.
