LICENSE: United States Coast Guard Master of Towing vessel. 1600 tons

All Oceans. GMDSS, Unlimited Radar, Number 1102192

STCW 95. TWIC, Designated Examiner



TASKS: Steer and operate vessels, using radios, radars, depth finders and electronic plotting devices.



Compute positions, set courses and speeds by using charts, compasses, gyro compass and knowledge of local conditions.



Directly supervise all aspects of crew training. Conduct proper vessel drills, fire, flooding and abandon ship and vessel security.



Ensure that all Federal and local laws are followed, Conduct vessel inspections to ensure compliance with ISO and IMO guidelines.



Direct communications with the vessel owners and consumers.



Make sound and well informed decisions about vessel movements, barge and ship dockings.



Monitor vessel supplies, monies and durable and non- durable equipment.
