Chief Mate aboard the 99 GRT P/V “Horizons Edge.” Qualified Officer of Navigational Watch aboard K class passenger vessel. Also performed engineering duties when needed. Organized crew scheduling, training, vessel inspections, and vessel maintenance.



Horizon’s Edge Casino Cruises, Gloucester, MA May 2004—August 2004

Able Bodied Seaman aboard the 499 GRT P/V “Stardancer IV.” Involved in training premier crew for COI inspections and general readiness of vessel for passenger operations. Other responsibilities included helm watch, and general deck maintenance and passenger comfort.



Horizon’s Edge Casino Cruises, Lynn, MA May 2003—August 2003

Deck Utility and Unlicensed Engineer aboard the 99 GRT P/V “Horizons Edge.” Responsibilities included general deck maintenance, engine room watch, main engine and gen set maintenance.



Pickering Wharf Marina, Salem, MA May 1995—August 2003

Dockmaster. Year round general management responsibilities including office/book keeping, dock and workboat maintenance, customer/transient services, and crew scheduling. Retained as a consultant for facility negotiation, renovation and reconstruction post resignation of Dockmaster position in 2003.



Harbor Marine Access, Salem, MA September 1995—June 2001

Mate aboard uninspected T/V “Resolute”. Responsibilities included general engine and deck maintenance as well as delivery of vessel/s, barge/s, and relevant equipment to various job locations ranging from Portland, ME to Providence, RI.
