Objective
I am looking for a full time job running a boat. I am willing to train or do what ever I have to do.
Experience
I have worked in the marine industry for over 10 years at a dealership and a tow boat captain as a caption, mechanic, electrician, rigger and about everything you can do with or on a boat, mostly small boats.
Education
I have a high school diploma, I have a 25 gt. masters captions license with towing endorsement
Certification
Masters Captions license, 25 gross tons, with towing endorsement, I am willing to upgrade.
Skils
Mechanic, rigger, lots of caption experience up to 100 miles off shore in boats around 30' and under.
I started working in the marine industry at age 19 and now I am 30, so I have done a lot and been around the docks for a little while. I have sold boats, worked on boats, ran boats and washed them. I am still working full time and I am on the water at least three times a week. I worked for Tow Boat U.S. running and towing boats in the St. Johns, I have not had a lot of experience with large boats but I am eager to learn. I am willing to start at the bottom if that is what it takes. Its in my blood to work, been working full time since I was 14, never missed a 40 hr. week yet, I don't miss and I get it done, what ever it takes. I have a great job now just looking to do full time what I love best.
