Research Boat Captain -

Duties include the launch and recovery of AUV (Automated Underwater Vehicle), Side Scan Sonar, Sub Bottom Profile technology and Underwater Video

• The R/V Stephan, a 65 ft aluminum Hull Navy Belt Research Vessel

• The Oceaneer, a 30 ft Research Vessel

• The R/V Lee, a 17 ft rigged hull inflatable



1989 – 2000 Freelance Commercial Diver/Boat Captain

Industrial Diver Co –

Worked as a hard hat diver with surface supplied air, and surface communication.

Duties included pipe penetration, underwater welding, burning and ship salvage, and underwater problem solving.



1995 – 1998 General Offshore Company

• International Diver and Dive Supervisor - underwater fiber optic cable installation and protection from ship to shore (S. Caribbean, Brazil, Panama, Chile, Ecuador, Peru).
