Objective
Looking for long a term position as captain or possibly a mate on larger vessel. Have experience with yachts, tugs, oilfeild and research vessels.
I have a current passport and dont mind travel, Would consider relocating for the right job. Am felxable, easy going, and enjoy my choosen profession.

Summary of Qualifications
Thirty-five plus years experience in vessel operations including Gulf of Mexico, Eastern
Seaboard, West Coast, and overseas. Vessels operated include 280' heavy lift RORO vessel,
230' Research/Survey vessel, sea-going tugs up to 180'/6000 HP, 90' harbor tugs, numerous
supply boats and crew boats, dinner cruise and various private yachts, personal and
commercial use. Since 2003, I have taught the masters course for those who were pursuing
their captain's license including sailing theory, rules of the road, plotting, and celestial
navigation, with the highest emphasis on emergency preparedness and safety.
Current Certification
Master of Steam or Motor Vessels of not more than 1600 gross registered tons (Domestic),
3000 gross tons (ITC tonnage) upon ocean waters; Also, Master of Towing Vessels upon
Oceans and Western Rivers; Master of Auxiliary Sail Vessels of not more than 50 Gross
Tons; Radar observer unlimited. STCW 95, TWIC, ARPA, GMDSS
