I have responded to emergency situations concerning life, limb, and marine caualties utilizing safe practices to a successful conclution.
Assisted the USCG Gloucester and Gloucester Marine PD with the dive vessel Narcossis and two divers in the successful recovery of a drowning victum(scuba diver) in Gloucester Outer Harbor
I was a partner in Ocean Charters from 1985 to 1990. It ran untill 2000 as Narcosis Charter service. In a 15 year run The Narcossis was one of the only charter boats in the area with a perfect safety record.

I have been boating my whole life and have been a licensed captain for the past 22 years. I have extensive local knowledge of the waters of Cape Cod Bay, Cape Cod Canal and adjacent waters, Buzzards Bay, Nantucket, and Vinyard Sounds.
I have operated vessels from Kennybunk Maine to New York Harbor in all sea conditions, including fog.
I have also operated 47' cat bareboat chater in the caribbean 4 times since 2002
I am familiar with deckhand duties during transport, assistance, and steering operations through operating various vessels during my career, and I'm able to lift heavy items and have climbed ladders in rough sea conditions.
I presently own a 36' Convertable Cruiser that I keep on Buzzards Bay, I rebuilt, repowered , maintain it, including engines, transmissions, fuel tanks, shafts, struts. I also own a 18' center console that I am presently restoring.
I have a working knowledge on how to operate and repair all marine systems, electronics and navigation equipment. I also have navigation, radiotelephone, charting, and helmsman skills
