Objective

Obtain a position as a junior captain, third captain, or mate on a offshore vessel or a crew-boat.especially with a large company is also very desirable where I can advanced my career.


Experience


I have Worked offshore as ABW for many ships carrying dangerous liquid cargos I assisted senior officers to transfer/ load/ unload/ chemicals, fuels and in navigation watch. Maintain all valves and other equipment. Major companies were Keystone shipping, Marine Transport line, Mormac shipping, Trinidad Tanker shipping and Crowley Petroleum Services.

Tankerman PIC (person in-charge) worked on 400 feet Tug /Barge 120,000 bbl from Nov-2007 to Dec-2008


Education


Associate in Applied Science.

Microsoft Certified System Engineer, worked on computers and servers.


Certification


U.S Coast guard approved courses from Paul Hall Maritime Center, MD

Advanced fire prevention and fire fighting, fast rescue boat, Tankerman PIC (person in-charge), Basic safety-personal survival techniques, Medical first aid provider, chemical, biological and radiological defense, License Global Maritime Distress& Safety System, and Radar Unlimited. TWIC Card, credential rating, AB unlimited, PIC barge, Master 100 ton Near Coastal, Mate 200 ton near coastal, 1600 ton Mate Inland and Great Lakes from U.S Coast guard.

Skils


Strong knowledge of chemical handling on safe way, reading blue prints, P&ID, monitor flow rate, monitor pressure, take API& temperature, Inspect all high& low alert alarm systems, physically check emergency shutdown system, inspect all bypass and main valves, lubricate all valves include gate and ball valves, open and close valves manually, Inspect engines and generators and keep them always in good working order, inspect air compressor and drain water, operate and maintain crane, keep good communication during operation, load and striped fuel tanks, connect and disconnect fuel cargo hoses/arms, sign the DOI (declaration of inspection), calculate all trim corrections, fill the Bill of lading, find gross/Net/and long tons, gauge tanks, draw samples, feed all the data to computer, take security rounds for terror, monitor oil spill, monitor any danger around working zone, strictly follow the company’s procedure and always eager to learn new technology to keep up with our competitor. I believe on teamwork and I always take my job very serious either on shore or offshore. Monitor the ballast. Utilize my strong leadership, communication, and technical skills to keep our customer happy by doing our operations on a safe and healthy way.


 


I am very flexible about duration of employment as well as location.I will be taking my 1600 ton ocean license soon.I have never operated the boat or tug boat before.
