After I passed all exams for my Master Unlimited in 2003 I sailed as a captain on a private 36m sailing yacht. Then I worked as a Nautical Officer on ships between 1599grt and 88493grt to collect sea time for my license but I always wanted to work on yachts again. Before my studies I sailed 3 years as a Ship Mechanic on different merchant vessels where I worked with diesel engines, generators of different sizes and learned how to maintain a ship engine. The last three years I sailed in the Mediterranean Sea as a Captain on 30m Motor Yachts (Private and Charter) at south of France, Spain, Greece and Italy
