Objective
To obtain a part or full time position as captain in any branch of the maritime industry, whether it be recreational boating, commercial boating, towing, rescue, crew-boats, deliveries, etc. As long as I'm driving, any kind of work is fine.
Experience
1) Crew-in-training (2008-Present) at USCG Station Annapolis:
Training to become crew-qualified aboard the 41’ Utility Boat.
Training Drills: towing, emergency casualty control exercises, MOB, etc.
2) Crew/Mate/Captain-in-training (seasonal since 2007) for Capital Yacht Charters:
Customer Service & Total Quality Management – assist passengers with inquiries, boarding and disembarking
Responsible for passenger safety and ensured working condition of the emergency equipment.
Completed safety, CPR, First Aid training and drills on multiple occasions. Lookout Watch, helm duties, line-handling, knowledge of emergency procedures
