I was adhering to and enforce regulations and Industry recommendations as outlined in the International Publications such as the International Safety Guide for Oil Tankers and Terminals (ISGOTT) and the STS Guidelines. Inspected shoreside terminal, including storage facilities, and vessels calling alongside the Port berths. Maintain the Quality Management system.

- Control the vessels entering and leaving the port of Burgas
- Control the direct navigation and other movement of vessels in those waters.
- Control the position where and the manner in which any vessel may anchor or be secured in those waters.
- Incident investigation and reports made to the Harbor Master
- Collecting, verifying and organizing relevant VTS-related information; undertaking VTS tasks and activities that are adequate and appropriate for treating the risks associated with the movement of vessels in the VTS area
- Organize the pilot and tug boat assistants.
- Manage the data base information and Safe Sea Net System.
