I am looking to get hired on as an Captain, Mate or Engineer/deckhand. With my piloting as well as mechanical skills my long term goal is to work towards being a professional Captain or be trained as a Captain/Engineer.

10 years experience running vessels 30’ to 58’ on the Great Lakes where I earned my USCG Master Mariners 50 ton. Created, ran and sold a Handyman business that has been in operation in the city of Chicago for the last 16 years. Along with this experience I was a diesel engine mechanic in the US Navy. While in the Navy, I earned a bachelors degree from The Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania. Recently, I have moved to Florida to change careers and gain entry into the marine industry where I have since earned my MCA MOY 200 ton Offshore license. To round out 29 years of diving I also have my PADI Dive Master.
I am 80 working days away from earning my Master 100 Ton Near Coastal.
Financed 100% of higher education while working full time while attending school.
Hobbies: exercising, sailing, swimming, rock climbing, spear fishing, surfing, riding HD motorcycles, also: very proficient cook-ran a restaurant for 2 yrs., bartending for 18 years.
