While working for Cardinal Point Captains, I was head manager. In charge of 15 Captains / Deckhands / Engineers. I also acted as Captain on a variety of different platforms including twin, three and four screw vessels. I worked hand in hand with the Navy providing security zone assistance, fleet training and the successful completion of numerous missions. I also worked with NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) acting as Captain, lead engineer and first mate on a variety of different research platforms including 41ft to 85ft vessels. The only reason I want to leave this great company is because I want to travel to different locations than they can offer.

While I served in the Coast Guard I was stationed in Alaska on a 240ft vessel. I was a quartermaster, junior officer of the deck and primary plotter. I was then sent to Iraq, while overseas I was stationed on a 110ft patrol boat. Our job was to provide security to the oil platforms in the North Arabian Gulf. While on the patrol boat I became officer of the deck and primary navigator. After a year in Iraq I returned to the states and got stationed in Los Angeles / Long Beach were I became a Coxswain operating 25ft- 41ft vessels providing Maritime security and search & rescue missions. I departed the Coast Guard because I wanted to further my knowledge as a civilian in the Maritime Industry.
