Objective
I would like to get back on a cruise vessel, I like working with guests, and visiting new areas of the USA. I always liked working on the water.
Experience
I started out as a deckhand on supply boats in Louisiana back in 1982 to 1997and worked on crewboats as a relief captain. I moved back to Davenport, Iowa and went to work as a deckhand on the President Riverboat Casino. After that I worked on a local sand/gravel dredge for a couple of summers and then I got a job on the Casino Rock Island in Rock Island, Illinios as a mate and advanced to a captain. I was there from 1988 to 2008 at which time the company moved to a new land-based casino, I am now working in the casino in maintenance as a laborer, looking for a job on a boat again.
