• Lead member of buoy field service team traveling to remote buoy locations to troubleshoot, maintain and support ongoing OceanNet and OCB oceanographic buoys and subsea sensing equipment
• Lead technician responsible for successful troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and refurbishment effort of Harris Corporation’s proprietary buoy-based VSAT antenna system
• Responsibilities included the implementation of failure mitigation process, design of upgrade to legacy assemblies, procurement of replacement and spare parts, complete disassembly and reassembly of buoy-based VSAT antenna resulting in a 75 percent reduction of required manpower over previous antenna refurbishment effort
