Operate and maintained Barefoot'n on the waters of the Chesapeake Bay, the U.S. East Coast to Florida, and throughout the Bahamas. Have also crewed on vessels for friends and acquaintances including dive boats operating off shore in Virginia, Florida, and Hawaii, 41' Morgan OI Ketch, 40' Hunter, 38' Lord Nelson Trawler, 34' Marine Trader Trawler, various sport fishermen and many other vessels too numerous to mention.

Operate small dive business performing under hull maintenance on boats.
Have been on numerous open water dives on various vessels off the coast of Virginia, Florida, Oahu, Maui, Kauai, the big island of Hawaii and the Bahamas.
1992-1995 Performed as advisor to Explorer Post supported by the Boy Scouts of America and Aqua-Lung Dive Center (ALDC). Organized SCUBA training and certification for Explorer Scouts. Assisted in dive training and education. Organized and participated in fund raisers and dive trips.

Worked part time for Spar Charters captaining charter vessels in the vicinity of the Chesapeake Bay and teaching and assisting teaching Basic Keelboat Sailing. Captained 34' Hunter, 22' Capri, 34' Catalina.
1967-1971
Taught waterfront activities at Boy Scout camp summers. Qualified to teach small boat sailing, motor boating, water skiing, canoeing, white water canoeing, rowing, swimming, lifesaving and senior lifesaving. Red Cross certified lifeguard. Participated in 4 100 mile canoe trips, 2 on the Connecticut River and 2 on the Saco River. Participated in several shorter canoe trips on various rivers in New England.
1960-1971 Crewed aboard family vessels, ranging from 16 to 27', on many trips in the vicinity of Boston Harbor traveling to Gloucester, Marthas Vineyard, and Nantucket. Operated vessels on fishing trips too numerous to mention off Boston Light.
