Part time - Delivery Captain and Boat Handling Instructor
Delivered private and dealer owned vessels from Sacramento and the Bay
Area to Southern CA and vise versa. These boats ranged in size from 24
to 90 feet. Most recent trips were in 2010 bringing a 48 Dyna,
a 42 Ocean a 50 Chris Craft and a 90 Sun Seeker up the coast and around
the Bay area. Plus I have Trained over 40 boat owners in close Quarters
handling and seaman ship during this period

Fill in for regular Captains, supervise crew, and provide an enjoyable
Dinner or sightseeing cruise of San Francisco Bay for both small and large
groups of passengers aboard 50 to 95 foot vessels.

Operated and managed successful yacht maintenance company. Provided
mechanical and detail service to private and corporate yacht owners. Ran
numerous delivery and charter Yachts on the East Coast, Florida Keys,
Mexico and Bahamas. Promoted charters for owners.
1992 M.Y. El Corsario – 132’ Diaship Position: First Officer
Cruised waters off Tokyo, Japan for four months. Supervised deck hands, cleaned and detailed vessel exterior, handled lines, participated in speed trials.
1990 – 1992 M.Y. Temptation – 61’ Hatteras Position: Captain
Cruised New England to Keys in Florida. Completed a total refit and remodel in 1992. Provided all maintenance, navigation and boat handling. Supervised crew of two.
1987 – 1990 S.Y. No Nonsense – 82’ Custom Sailing Yacht Position: Captain
Cruised New England to Florida. Provided all navigation boat handling and general maintenance of vessel, including varnish work.
1985 – 1987 M.Y. Jervet - 92’ Broward Position: Mate / Engineer
Cruised South Florida, Bahamas and the Gulf of Mexico. Provided fishing skills. Maintained the Yacht, two tenders, four scooters, windsurfers, fishing gear and all varnish.
1983 – 1985 M.Y. Kahlida – 149’ Motor Yacht Position: Second Engineer
Cruised Florida, The Bahamas and the Caribbean. Assisted Chief Engineer with all maintenance; specialized in maintaining all gasoline powered equipment, including the two V8-powered tenders, Wave runners, the three scooters and three outboard motors.
