Experience
I am currently employed with Capt JP Cruises out of Troy NY. I have been with this company since 1988. I have worked my way up to Captains position from deckhand so I am familiar with all aspects of operating a vessel. I am currently on a 200ft dinner cruise vessel and have been on 100>ft vessels throughout my career. I have basic engine knowledge of 12v-71 Detroit engine (natural and turbo charged) along with 2v-71, 6v-71, and 8v-71 engines. I make log book entries, keep inventory records, safety records, manage crew members, Coast Guard inspections and drills, use and knowledge of charts and chart navigation, radar, auto pilot, VHF radio and office work. I have sailed to Columbia, Jamaica, Guyana, and Panama. I do not smoke or drink and I don't do drugs. My last drug test was 04/2010.

I hold a Masters 100ton, near coastal with towing endorsement license and STCW 1995 regulations compliant.
