A sailor since the age of 10. Owned more than 20 sailboats over the years. Sailed upon the Pacific, the Atlantic, the Sea of Cortez, and the Caribbean Sea. Lived aboard a large sailing yacht for 12 years. Started and operated two sailing charter companies. Private captain, charter captain and yacht delivery skipper.

WORK HISTORY
2004 to Present As a USCG Master Mariner, serve as a charter captain for several companies such as Ocean Blue Yacht Charters, Ena’s Cruises, and Gondolas D’ Amore in Southern California. Also do yacht deliveries and skipper private yachts.
2003 to Present FREE SPIRIT SAILING ADVENTURES, California, Mexico, Virgin Islands
Owner/operator. Offer day sailing, sunset cruises, and multi-day charters aboard various sailing yachts. Personally provision and prepare all meals on multi-day charters. Offer sailing lessons and skin diving instruction.
2003 to 2006 DEL REY YACHT SERVICE, Marina del Rey, California
Owner. Performed yacht maintenance including washing/waxing, detailing,
fabrications in both wood and fiberglass, mechanical and electrical repairs, rigging, plumbing, upholstery, system installations, and consultations.
1990 - 1997 ROCKY POINT SAILING COMPANY, Phoenix, Arizona
Owner/Operator. Took guests sailing at the top of the Gulf of California on several sailboats out of Rocky Point, Mexico. Did day sailing, moonlight sailing, whale watching charters, and overnight trips.
1983 - 2003 Computer Programmer/Analyst, Software Engineer. Hold a B.S. in Business Administration from Arizona State University. Have worked at several companies such as Prudential Life Insurance, American Express, Allied Signal, Toyota, Paramount Pictures, Honda, and Northrop Grumman.
