Captain of yachts:
Over 900 sea days on Great Lakes, Gulf of Mexico and North Atlantic.
Offshore sailed 30 S/V: Beaufort, NC to Key West, 800 nm in fifteen days.
Cruised 28 S/V: Detroit to Milwaukee via Mackinac, 500nm over ten days.
Singlehanded 30 S/V: Annapolis to Norfolk, 150nm for three days.
Delivered 65 S/V: Freeport, Bahamas to Miami and back, 240 nm.

Drive 60 ft Corinthian M/V for “Big Three” tours one or two days a week.

Give orientation speech, fit six beginners in gear while underway, give in-water guidance and encourage with enthusiasm up to 3 times a day.

First Mate / Engineer-
Drove 35 ft Island Hopper M/V, picked up mooring or set anchor at reefs. Maintained, upgraded and filled with fuel. Filled compressed air tanks.
Scuba Diver / Snuba Guide -
Demonstrated use of equipment, gave in-water instruction, guidance, and encouragement to first time divers. Lead over 250 underwater tours.
Income did not cover expenses and I moved back to the States.

Engineer -
Trained as a live-aboard engineer on a 65 ft S/V custom dive boat. Studied diesel engines, marine electrical, plumbing and air conditioning.
I did not enjoy the living conditions and went to work in Puerto Rico.

Starting out as a self-employed handyman, I built a debt free home improvement company with three employees in the first two years. I built a spec. home and closed the business to move to a coastal town.

Extremely resourceful. Finding tools, materials and methods for repair and improvement among what I already have is almost a hobby. If I can't, I make a list.
I am single, without children. I live aboard a 30ft sailboat. Thus, I have detached myself from possessions in order to easily relocate and move ahead with my career.
