Started 1980 as a deckhand on a crabber in Alaska, Mates papers in 1988, Masters papers in 1989. Have worked on vessels ranging is size from 125' to 375'. Currently employed in the fishing industry in Alaska.
Education
Two semesters of community college studying computer programming languages
Certification
Master 2000T Fishing, Mate 3000T Fishing, Mate 1600T Inspected, Oceans. Radar, firefighting, first-aid CPR, first responder medical training, hazmat, haccp, drill instructor, etc.
Skils
Excellent boathandler, familiar with all aspects of deckwork,
I have been a commercial fisherman since 1980. I am intelligent, in excellent health, a non-drinker, non-smoker, I'm very serious about my work. I am currently employed by a large Seattle based trawl fleet working in the Bering Sea.
