Experience
January 2006-Present, Captain, Marine consultant, Engineer Hatteras Fish Co. 80ft Hatteras "Topps". 42ft commercial fishing vessel "Sea Dog"
Currently Engineering and Captaining "Topps". North East US through Southern Bahamas. Responsible for all aspects of marine, business, entertainment, monies and maintenance.
Own and manage crew on commercial fishing vessel in Hatteras, NC.
October 2004- February 2006, Captain “Sweetums” 51 ft. Bertram, 65 ft. Hatteras
Responsible for taking delivery of Bertram after hurricane and total refit to travel from South Florida to Mexico . Built tournament program and fished Bahamas Billfish Championship both years . Maintained accounts in Marine division. Responsible for all aspects of entertainment, accommodations and all fishing procedures. Boat sold and owners intentions and program for new vessel were never decided upon. I left with all recommendations to continue building career.
March 2001- September 2003 Captain “Oppositional” 60 ft. Hatteras
Operated and built tournament fishing program. Traveled from New Jersey through Bermuda, Bahamas and entire east coast. Responsible for all.
November 2000- March 2001, Marine Fisheries Consultant
Assisted Turks and Caicos government in converting some of their lobster boats into commercial bottom fishing vessels. This helped them use local resources instead of so much imported fish for business . Also tracked migrating Wahoo with local marine biology and science college.
April 1998- August 2000, Captain “Black Shadow” 65 ft. Hatteras
Built a program for tournament fishing, entertainment and cruising throughout the Bahamas. Responsible for all maintenance, bookkeeping, and all fishing procedures. Re-fit entire inside of vessel as well as re-powering all propulsion systems.
January 1998- April 1998, Captain “Nomad” 55 ft. Hatteras
Delivered vessel from Palm Beach. Responsible for refit including, but not limited to, electrical, mechanical, paint and fiberglass work; in preparation for vessel to be set up to fish throughout the Bahamas and Costa Rica.
June 1996- December 1997, Captain “Coco Loco” 47 ft. Viking
Took delivery of vessel from New Gretna, N.J.. Navigated vessel from South Florida throughout Northern, Central, and Southern Bahamas. Responsible for all aspects of vessels, including maintenance, fishing, entertainment and budgeting.
January 1993 - June 1996, Captain “Bullwinkle” 53 ft. Merritt
Privately owned vessel that I maintained all aspects of boat including engine room and operating systems. Local Sport fishing.
August 1989- November 1992, Captain “Fully Vested” 58 ft. President
Motor Yacht maintained and ran from South Florida through Central Bahamas. Responsible for all operations, maintenance, fishing and diving procedures.

Experienced with diversified equipment/navigational techniques involving loran, radar, weather fax, GPS, satnav, darkening and day/night operations. I have both Captain and mate experience on numerous vessels as well as an extensive commercial fishing background. References available upon request.
