To whom it may concern:

Please find my enclosed resume for your review and consideration. I have been in the maritime industry in excess of twenty-five years. The majority of my work in the last ten years has been in the form of towing 400-foot fuel barges in all Alaskan waters and west coast ports. My current position involves the towing of lumber barges out of various Canadian ports to a variety of western ports such as Tacoma and Port Angeles, WA, Coos Bay, Oregon, and Eureka, CA. I have vast experience with ship assists and my safety record and employee evaluations have been excellent. I have also had gulf experience with three trips through the Panama Canal. This winter I towed a decommissioned US Navy Warship through the Panama Canal to Brownsville, Texas for scrap. I then towed a barge from Louisiana to the Delaware River and back to Louisiana.

My present career objective is to seek a position to progress and utilize my current and past professional experiences.

I would appreciate a meeting with you to discuss potential job placement within your company. My personal references and certifications are available upon your request.

Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.

Respectfully,

James C. Faria
