Fished on deck and as Engineer, Skiffman and relief skipper for 16 years around Kodiak Island and the Alaska Peninsula.
Worked as Mate and skipper on California Fish and Game High Speed Patrol Boats for 5 years. Delivered five new patrol boats from Seattle to California and trained the crews to run the boats.
worked as Master for last 5 years running boats from Seattle to Hooper Bay. Have run Tugs, barges and landing crafts from Seattle to the Bering Sea. Have run the Kuskokwim, Kong, Kwig, Kipnuk, Nightmute, Newtok and Cherfornak and Chevak river and spent time in the villages.
