Objective
I have worked on boats for seven years and presently seek to continue working on the water. Though my experience has imparted me with a strong base of maritime know-how, I find myself continually learning, and striving to gain more knowledge and experience. There are many types of boats, and many conditions in which boats are operated, and these many factors and possibilities keep me humble and hungry as a young captain. Most of my maritime experience comes from working and operating tour boats in south-central Alaska. This has provided me with practical boating experience, but also invaluable people experience. In addition to maintaining and driving a boat, my job in Alaska has demanded that passengers have a safe and memorable experience on the water, and that crew are prepared to accommodate this. Presently, I seek a professional opportunity which allows for my skills, knowledge, and work ethic to contribute to the whole, and which encourages my development as a captain.
