Captain, 100 ton vessels

Objective


I am seeking a position as captain or vessel officer on a 100 GRT private yacht or passenger vessel seeking a person with security issues in mind.


Experience


Retired peace officer (3 years ago). Experience in law enforcement patrol vessels on coastal waters, boarding vessels, etc. U.S. Coast Guard licensed after retirement from law enforcement. Twenty-six years of boating operations experience. Currently working as captain on an 83' x 33' ferry in Sacramento Delta. Department instructor for firearms training, defensive tactics & arrest control procedures, baton instructor, field training officer, armorer for Glock sidearms, Remington 870 shotgun and M-14 rifle. Tactical Communications instructor. Supervisor of 25 officers at retirement.

STCW - Basic Safety Training

STCW - Crisis Management

STCW - Crowd Management

First Aid & CPR current

Oxygen First Aid Provider

Supervisory experience in law enforcement and military

Background in martial arts training

Weapons trainer

Served as fire team nozzleman, rescue boat crewman
