Objective


Objective To find a long term CAREER with a good retirement and benefit package. To captain your vessel to any port or rig you desire; to make the trip as safe as possible; to maintain the engines and make necessary fluid changes and service the vessels on-board systems; to maintain all electronics and vessel logs and safety meeting and training of new crew members.

"Scottish Reel" 1977 53' Hatteras Sport fish. Have caught 2 World Records and placed in several Tournaments while Captain of this vessel. Have completely refitted this vessel inside and out. To many updates to list!! Have traveled all over the Gulf, Keys, and Caribbean. Took owner and friends on two week dive vacation in the Keys and Bahamas. Caught owners wife and children, and several friends their first Blue Marlins. Hold World Record with Yellow fin Tuna and Amber jack, and caught 525lb Blue Fin Tuna.



Experience 05/2002 - 07/2002 International Boat Rentals, Inc. LaRose, Louisiana

Captain

Operate 115 feet utility vessels in the Gulf of Mexico oil field. Supervise the crew and direct the cargo loading and offloading of the vessel. Maintain the Masters and Captains logs and billing reports, safety meeting and vessel requisitions and provisioning of the vessel. Supervise all on board training, fire drills, man over board drill, fuel spill drills and abandon ship drills, and any other duties required.



Experience 10/2001- 04/2002 Global Industries New Iberia, Louisiana

Captain and Engineer

Operated crew boats- 120 feet, as well a 122 feet utility dive support vessel in the Gulf of Mexico oil field. Also responsible for supervising the crew, ordering all vessel provisions and requisitions, master logs and safety meeting reports; preformed all engine room repairs, maintenance and general upkeep.



Experience 3/2000 - 09/2001 Sun Enterprises - Sun Dancer Destin, Florida

Captain and Engineer

· Of a 65’ Hatteras. Fished and navigated the waters between Louisiana and Key West, Florida. Maintained the company yacht and entertained guests and fished tournaments. Delivered the yacht to any port of call that the boss wished to visit. Planned and cooked all meals, and provisioned the yacht as necessary. Maintained all the vessels on-board systems and maintained all fishing and tournament tackle. Maintained and serviced the engines in ship- shape condition, to be sea ready at all times. Prepared and made the vessel safe for all hurricanes and other foul weather. Maintained all safety equipment and life jackets. Waxed, cleaned, painted and made any necessary repairs. Oversaw installation of full tuna tower and rebuilt port engine. Designed and built artificial fishing reefs to aid in conservation of fishing. Entered twelve tournaments in 2000 and won cash money and placed in six out of the twelve. Supervised mate.
