Objective


To gain employment with a company that provides commercial shipping services. Desire

an entry position that would provide experience on-deck to learn commercial aspects and

increase knowledge base of the shipping industry. Goal is to gain more in-shore and off-hore experience to assist in building a strong career path in commercial shipping. In addition, utilizing my Master Captain’s License as a base, the plan is to continue to further education and experience to increase capacity and tonnage.

Patrick Hogan has over 25 years of experience working and crewing on different types of vessels. He has a deep knowledge and understanding of navigation and aligning weather conditions with the experience of fellow crew members. Because of his expansive amount of time on the water, he is quick to assess situations, arriving at safe solutions for both vessel and crew. Patrick’s passion for the marine industry is reflective in his desire to excel in the field, which is demonstrated by his commitment to certifications and further education.
