In my position as Dynamic Positioning Operator, I have demonstrated tremendous ability to support and maintain numerous operations, FMEA, Capability Plots, Sea Trials, Power Management, and helpful implementation to the vessel/rig specific WSOG. I am seeking new professional challenges, and eager to put my acquired knowledge and professionalism towards the growth and development of your organization. Dynamic Positioning Operator: to operate and maintain all DP equipment, i.e. Hydro acoustics, DGPS, Gyro’s, all PME and Reference positioning systems, and to use the equipment to its fullest capabilities while maintaining 100% accuracy during positioning. Ballast Control Operator: to maintain stability at all times, and account for all the weights taken on and off the Rig/Ship, conduct monthly PM’s on all LSA’s.
As Master my duties included Security Officer: to conduct, maintain and oversee that training is being carried out in regards to Homeland Security, State, and Local and foreign and Anti-Piracy training. To implement and amend new training structure and tactics, to handle all state side and foreign affairs involving security. Safety Officer: to conduct, maintain and oversee that safety is maintained on a daily and weekly basis, that job risk assessments and tool box talks are carried out, to ensure that all work permits are implemented and proper PPE (personal protective equipment) are being used. To ensure that all aspects of safety are carried out in regards to the smallest task to the largest task.
My training through the years has been multiple accredited Maritime schools, and in house training. Training as well is conducted on a daily and weekly basis. The On the job training is priceless when it comes to knowledge.
