Performed System verification and validation (V&V) activities and documentation efforts, including Software Requirements Specifications (SRS) through DOORS and other database management systems.

Key Achievements:

~ Instrumental in the completion of 6 months of back logged testing; assisted the Test and Development Division in meeting testing goals and system integration deadlines.

~ Tested and verified over 1,600 Link 16 tracks paramount for System Acceptance Testing (SAT) and for the overall success of system performance during real world operations.

~ Systems Used: AFATDS, PRC-117, RoDAO, AFARN, BOSS Link-16 Simulator, DLTT and JRE

Security Officer (DoD Secret Clearance)



Administered a security program utilizing the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) to verify and clear LM employees, contractors and sub-contractors. Enforced LM security procedures as well as security clearance issues. Conducted inspections of all LM controlled spaces and property. Maintained multiple phone systems and greeted guests as well as staff.

Key Achievements:

~ Selected as the first Security Officer to maintain Front Desk role and responsibilities.

Assault Craft Unit Five (ACU-5) Camp Pendleton, CA

Control Tower Dispatcher



Trained and qualified over ten sailors in Range Safety Operations utilizing HF/ UHF communications, Bridge-to-Bridge circuits, SPA-25G radar and navigational chart plotting. Key Achievements:

~ Coordinated and supervised over 750 Amphibious Ship-to-Shore movements of amphibious (LCAC) vehicles for hover-craft pilot and crew training, resulting in the safe completion of over 2,600 Flight Hours.

~ Assisted in 4 Expeditionary Strike Group deployments, monitored the loading and offloading of 3,500 Marines and 1,500 vehicles as Apron Control Supervisor. Meticulously tracked the Operations Departments fuel and equipment budget, including controlled equipage such as Night-Vision Goggles (NVG), totaling over $6.8 million dollars.



Commander, United States Sixth Fleet, Gaeta, Italy

(March 2002-June 2004)

Tactical Flag Command Center (TFCC) Supervisor



Trained, supervised and managed 14 personnel on the Global Command and Control System-Maritime (GCCS-M) Common Operational Picture (COP) database/ track management functions; Command and Control Personal Computer (C2PC) system operations, system interoperability, network connectivity and system trouble-shooting. Performed database testing with afloat, ashore and Joint Military Air assets, utilizing Link 11 for real time tactical radar picture. Produced Command briefings to Commander, U.S. Sixth Fleet with daily Situational and Tactical reports.

Key Achievements:

~ Proven track record of maintaining a timely, accurate Tactical display of all assigned forces including; Two Carrier Strike Groups, One Expeditionary Strike Group and over 80 Military Sealift command ships operating in the Sixth Fleet Area Of Responsibility.

~ Significantly enhanced Sixth Fleet ability to conduct around-the-clock carrier based and tomahawk land attack missile strike operations involved in Operation Iraqi Freedom by maintaining Intra-Theater Link and Global Command and Control System-Maritime pictures.



USS Saipan (LHA-2), Norfolk, VA

(February 1997- June 2000)

Operations Specialist (NEC-0302)



Maintained the Combat Information Center (CIC) display of strategic and tactical information. Operated surveillance, tracking and height-finding radars, Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) equipment as well as computerized consoles and peripheral equipment that allows interface with the Aegis Combat System. AN/SYS-2 Integrated Automatic Detection and Tracking (IADT) Operator (Naval Enlistment Code-0302). Operated the Radar Control Operator (RCO) and Detector/ Tracker Monitor (DTM) Console.
