As Director of Business Development for Island Technology & Islyon Machining my responsibilities were to maintain current customers and developing new leads within the private sector. Responsible for providing the highest level of expertise to support our customers to include full life cycle recruiting, Program Management, Interviewing and pre-screening candidates to ensure compatibility with the customer and to meet their qualifications. Responsible for pricing, cost management, tracking of all contracts. I marketed the local, Federal, and State agencies to include such customers as NSWC Crane, Foreign Military Sales/Washington Navy Yard, NAVICP, ARMY/TACOM, DSCP, DSCR, BAV/VSE, Long Island Railroad, Con-Edison and teamed with many companies in the private sector. Successful in setting up teaming (service based contracts) agreements with other companies, BAV/VSE to support EX-KIDD Class ships for Taiwan. I was responsible for bringing in revenue that exceeded $6 Million in Contract awards. The marketing was focused on customers that require expertise in areas of Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Utilities, Machining, Contract Manufacturing, Logistics, and R&D. As Director of Business Development and Marketing for PSC Technology I was responsible for maintaining current customers and obtaining new leads. Our main niche' was that we were an 8(a) Small Business with expertise in the Radio Frequency Identification Systems (RFID), IT & SD. Supported the Federal, / State and Local agencies with Inventory Tracking systems, Help Desk, IT, Logistics, & Admin Support. We provided Bar Code hardware, media, and applications; logistics support, system integrations, programming, and life cycle support management. As the Program Manager on all obtained contracts I was responsible for maintaining current customers and developing new leads within the private sector. Contract Awards to exceed $2.4 Million in revenue. My customer base included: FISC Hazardous Material Support Center, SC provided personnel for database help desk support for the Navy's P2 program. TRADOC Acquisition Center. Ft. Monroe VA, Programming and help desk support for the Army's command staff personnel. Providing clients with custom applications ensuring accurate, up to date, production data. These services covered End – to – End logistic operations, including Value & Supply Chain Management, Acquisition Logistics, Distribution & Transportation Services, Deployment Logistics, and Logistics Training. IT services covered IT facility operations, desktop installation & maintenance, and Programming Analysis. Responsible for maintaining current customers and developing new leads within the private sector. Responsible for providing the highest level of expertise to support our customers to include full life cycle recruiting. As a result of the GSA Contracts and my marketing abilities, the contract grew to $4.5 Million in annual revenue within three months of being hired. This company went out of business.
