- Increase and maintain customer intimacy through strategic relationship with customer’s management based on a clear understanding of customer’s needs, vision and strategy
- Maintain excellent communication and provide a professional, courteous and effective contact point interfaces with client teams, operational teams, contractors and suppliers. This activity will be documented and reported to the management with proper action plans.
- Responsible for the performance of the company Contracts, in terms of financial performance, delivery of service, overall project safety performance, and maintenance of good industrial relations and standards of ship management employed on assets utilized on contract.
- Responsible for getting support documentation needed for invoicing ready on time.
- Review and approve monthly invoicing prior to submission.
- Follow up in conjunction with Finance department of outstanding payment.
- Establish with Finance department invoicing workflow per contract.
- Participate with Commercial department to the Bid management process and accurately manage maintaining the CRM database
- Provide regular feedback to appropriate senior/group management on the status of customers business, changes in their requirements and organization so as to ensure that existing and future contracts and bids can be delivered in the most efficient and effective way

2005-2007 MARKETING MANAGER
BOURBON INTEROIL NIGERIA LIMITED.

- Liaising with NNPC-NAPIMS and other JV Oil & PSC Operating companies on contracts/projects matters on behalf of BINL.
- Provide value added commercial support by identifying and actively developing new business opportunities, enhancement of current contracts & achieving company’s commercial objectives.
- Facilitation of Senior Governmental Contacts as regards to NNPC-NAPIMS, DPR, NCD, NIMASA, NPA and other governmental agencies as regards to the Maritime industry as well as the Oil & Gas Industry.
- Lead and coordinate market intelligence actions and identification of strategic opportunities and disseminate information. Collate vital information on both existing and anticipated projects aid project planning and contracting strategy.
- Meeting up with set target of vessels, and making sure that BINL newly built vessels get contracts to execute, before or immediately it leaves the shipyard.
- Advise to Shipyard on the type of vessels to build and constantly updating the group as per the latest type of vessels needed in the industry.
- Interface with Clients Accounts Payable for Submission and Follow-up on invoices for quick payments and Collection of Remittance advices from Operating companies.
- Marketing of the Company’s Shipyard (West Atlantic Shipyard) to the Oil & Gas, Maritime Sector and other private builders.
- Supervision of Tenders/Bids packages during packaging before submission
- Updating NAPIMS & DPR Organogram as it is constantly changing.
- Interface with all the JV OIL & PSC operating companies & Preparing Memos on the status of On-going and Up-coming jobs/contracts as regards vessels for internal purposes.
- Interface with the National Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) regarding Cabotage Registrations and Ensuring that the Company (BINL) and its vessels are in compliance with the Cabotage Law.
- Registration of new vessels at NIMASA (National Maritime Administration and Safety Agency).
- Processing of vessels’ Tonnage Measurement Certificate and Passenger & Survey Certificates.
- Putting up a database in place and updating the information as it’s constantly changing in the system i.e. updating contracts as they move stages to stages and also the duration and the facilities in place.
- Reading the dailies as it relates to the Marine/Maritime Industry and the Oil & Gas sector (i.e. for pre-qualification jobs) and also as it relates to BINL (NPA/port and maritime related issues).
- In-Charge of delegation of duties to staffs in the office, General Supervision and Coordinating of staffs and activities in the office.
