A Vessel company set up (with the headquarters in Port Harcourt) to provide marine services for the Offshore Oil & Gas Industry, mainly deepwater operations (to support mainly drilling rigs operations).



- Increase and maintain customer intimacy through strategic relationship with customer’s management based on a clear understanding of customer’s needs, vision and strategy



- Maintain excellent communication and provide a professional, courteous and effective contact point interfaces with client teams, operational teams, contractors and suppliers. This activity will be documented and reported to the management with proper action plans.



- Responsible for the performance of the company Contracts, in terms of financial performance, delivery of service, overall project safety performance, and maintenance of good industrial relations and standards of ship management employed on assets utilized on contract.



- Responsible for getting support documentation needed for invoicing ready on time.



- Review and approve monthly invoicing prior to submission.



- Follow up in conjunction with Finance department of outstanding payment.



- Establish with Finance department invoicing workflow per contract.



- Participate with Commercial department to the Bid management process and accurately manage maintaining the CRM database



- Provide regular feedback to appropriate senior/group management on the status of customers business, changes in their requirements and organization so as to ensure that existing and future contracts and bids can be delivered in the most efficient and effective way



- Ensure at all times that the profile of the group is positively represented at all levels within existing and potential customer organizations and that effective and positive relationships are developed and maintained with all customers



- Meet with existing and prospect customers to develop effective working relationships and identify and obtain further their future programs.

TENDER AND OFFER COORDINATION

2005-2007 MARKETING MANAGER

BOURBON INTEROIL NIGERIA LIMITED.



A Vessel company set up (with the headquarters in Port Harcourt) to provide marine services for the Offshore Oil & Gas Industry, mainly deepwater operations (to support mainly drilling rigs operations).

- Liaising with NNPC-NAPIMS and other JV Oil & PSC Operating companies on contracts/projects matters on behalf of BINL.

- Provide value added commercial support by identifying and actively developing new business opportunities, enhancement of current contracts & achieving company’s commercial objectives.

- Facilitation of Senior Governmental Contacts as regards to NNPC-NAPIMS, DPR, NCD, NIMASA, NPA and other governmental agencies as regards to the Maritime industry as well as the Oil & Gas Industry.

- Lead and coordinate market intelligence actions and identification of strategic opportunities and disseminate information. Collate vital information on both existing and anticipated projects aid project planning and contracting strategy.

- Meeting up with set target of vessels, and making sure that BINL newly built vessels get contracts to execute, before or immediately it leaves the shipyard.

- Advise to Shipyard on the type of vessels to build and constantly updating the group as per the latest type of vessels needed in the industry.

- Interface with Clients Accounts Payable for Submission and Follow-up on invoices for quick payments and Collection of Remittance advices from Operating companies.

- Marketing of the Company’s Shipyard (West Atlantic Shipyard) to the Oil & Gas, Maritime Sector and other private builders.

- Supervision of Tenders/Bids packages during packaging before submission

- Updating NAPIMS & DPR Organogram as it is constantly changing.

- Interface with all the JV OIL & PSC operating companies & Preparing Memos on the status of On-going and Up-coming jobs/contracts as regards vessels for internal purposes.

- Interface with the National Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) regarding Cabotage Registrations and Ensuring that the Company (BINL) and its vessels are in compliance with the Cabotage Law.

- Registration of new vessels at NIMASA (National Maritime Administration and Safety Agency).

- Processing of vessels’ Tonnage Measurement Certificate and Passenger & Survey Certificates.

- Putting up a database in place and updating the information as it’s constantly changing in the system i.e. updating contracts as they move stages to stages and also the duration and the facilities in place.

- Reading the dailies as it relates to the Marine/Maritime Industry and the Oil & Gas sector (i.e. for pre-qualification jobs) and also as it relates to BINL (NPA/port and maritime related issues).

- In-Charge of delegation of duties to staffs in the office, General Supervision and Coordinating of staffs and activities in the office.

- Preparation of a quarterly report to the Home Office in Marseille, France.



2002-2005 REGIONAL MARKETING CO-ORDINATOR (ASST. MGR) (Lagos, Port Harcourt, Warri & Angola);

INTELS NIGERIA LIMITED, LAGOS.



A logistics company set up (with the headquarters in Port Harcourt) to support the operations of all the operators (SPDC, MPNU, CNL, EPNL, etc) and services companies within the upstream and downstream sector of the Oil and Gas Industry.

- Liaising with NNPC-NAPIMS and other JV Oil & PSC Operating companies on contracts/projects matters on behalf of INTELS and its subsidiary companies.

- Provide value added commercial support by identifying and actively developing new business opportunities, enhancement of current contracts & achieving company’s commercial objectives.

- Collation of all INTELS’ and its Regional Company’s existing contracts and keeping track of the various current statuses.

- Facilitation of Senior Governmental Contacts on contracts, registration and bids issues as it relates to the Maritime industry and the Oil & Gas Industry.

- Organising Technical Presentations in NNPC-NAPIMS, DPR & other JV Oil & PSC Operating Companies on behalf of INTELS and its regional companies,

- Processing the necessary permits from the Department of Petroleum Resources.

- Interface with all the JV OIL & PSC operating companies & Preparing Memos on the status of On-going and Up-coming jobs for internal purposes.

- Monitor Competition, Market and regulatory trends in collaboration with services lines and provide information to strengthen the company’s overall strategic position in tendering and contracting. Assist in the preparation of market feasibility reports

An indigenous Oil servicing company in the Oil & Gas sector of the Nigerian economy been set up to carry out engineering & manpower supply services.
