Be knowledgeable in safety management system shipboard procedures &
shipboard emergency drills. And always keep the vessel secure at all times.
Experience
Assist, supervise & coach deck crew in maintaining the ship & its
equipment. Responsible for the safe operation of the ship's rigging,
shipboard handling equipment, hatch cleaning & ballasting operation.
Operate & maintain a ship' anchor & mooring winch for such a tasks
shifting, anchoring & berthing. Operate & a lifeboat, lifesaving
apparatus & firefighting equipment. Reporting to the Chief Officer
job for daily job orders, maintenance record & job accomplishment.
Conduct tool box meeting for deck crew, plan & organize job orders
for day by day activities. Operate & maintain a shipboard equipment associated with cargo handling and materials at sea.
Responsible for the inventory & keeping of deck tools, stores &
paint including spare parts on board. Responsible for the housekeeping & maintain cleanliness around the ship. Responsible
for the repair of wire rope, pilot ladder, sling, messenger line,
& mooring rope by splicing which include small deck machinery.
Participating emergency drill & safety meeting every week.
