In 2014, I obtained a 100/ton U.S.C.G. Captain License with a commercial towing endorsement, current First Aid/CPR Certified and TWIC Card certified. In the 25 years of my boating experience, I’ve spent it on the Coast of Georgia, Florida and Texas. I am an honest, dependable Captain. I have 40 years experience as a commercial fisherman on the East Coast and the Gulf of Mexico.
September 2014-currently laid-off: I work as a Boatman for Manson Construction.
March 2013-2014: I work at the UA Local 177 as a Pipefitter.
May 2010 – March 2013: I worked at International Paper as Maintenance Mechanic/Pipefitter.
October 2008 – May 2010: I worked at the Local 177 as a Pipefitter.
July 2001-October 2008: I worked at Georgia Pacific as a Pipefitter/Millwright.
1991-1996: I completed a 5 year apprentice program thru the Union Hall.
1981 – 2001: I fished commercially on a shrimp boat. I have experience in shrimping, conking, long lining, scalloping, wreck fishing, as well as some part time work on various tow boats. I have over 25 years experience in fishing. I also have welded on many boats.
